How to model components with multiple components in one package such as LM3900N (1 reply)
Answered my own question... The LT1014 Opamp gives me a model. It has four components but when I add it I can move the individual subcomponents on my schematic.
I want to use a LM3900N quad op amp in my schematic. It has four op amps in one package. A brute force way to model this is to create a single component with all four op amps. But this will become cumbersome for drawing my schematic because all four need to be placed together.
Another approach would be to create four components (LM3900N-A to LM3900N-D) and then link each of these to the same DIP package on the PCB. Is this possible?
What do you suggest as the best way to model this?
