Saving Custom Components in ExpressPCB Plus (No replies)
To save the part just select New at the top Left then Add a Part name and Revision then Select Description and add the Library Category Name you want the part to save under. then hit OK. You can also select and highlight a part in your existing design you want to save in the library then hit Ctrl C to copy it. Then paste it into the new Window.
Now create or paste in your Part. Under Part Description and File Description Fill in the Part Name (Example Below Cap) and a category where it will be placed in the Parts Library. Then go to the file tab and select Save To User Defined Parts Folder. Change untitled to part name, be sure and leave the .rrb extension and hit Save.
After selecting New Fill in the Part Number and Reversion.
Select Documentation then fill in Categories where you want the part to be saved in the Library. Then click OK at the bottom.
Select to highlight the part then Go to More Parts in Library, Click the Category you typed under Categories and you should see your part.
