Problems with Express PCB Plus (3 replies and 1 comment)
Regarding the first issue, try two slow clicks (not one double click) on the pad you want to individually select, then right click.
Regarding the second issue, SHIFT + left click drag.
Got nothing on the third.
Thank you for the assistance! You are correct on the information provided.
The response from Domagoj is correct on those two items. The first click allows selection or editing of the component as a whole in case it needs to be moved, copied, or deleted; and a second click allows the selection of individual pins to set them accordingly.
The board pricing is still available, but is slightly different. First, you click on the "Order Boards" menu to open the interface. Second, select the appropriate service, quantity, build time, and finish. Third, enter the correct shipping information and choose your Shipping Method. Completion of these steps activates the "Get Price" button at the bottom of the screen. Please note, we do not require the billing information (even though a red X appears in the tab) to get pricing, but do need shipping to accurately calculate the cost.
For reference, the "Order PCBs" button does not become active until Billing information is entered, and the Verification box has been toggled.
If you have any other questions, please let us know, or e-mail to support@expresspcb.com. Thank you, and have a great day!

Thanks for the replies, do you see a day where the middle mouse button can be set for different functionality like moving the board around? For someone very used to doing it that way with the old software it is a frustrating experience always zooming the board all the way out when I instinctively want to move.
Is there any option for doing rounded board perimeters? Or arced traces?
I hope the ability to make oblong holes is something that will be supported in the future. It would also be nice to make holes with much smaller pad, no pad, or holes with no plating through them like mouse bites for breaking out boards from a larger assembly?
So I have been playing around with the Plus version of the software and I have a few problems, related to things I was used to using on the original ExpressPCB software. I don't know it they are a problem with the software or user error.
On the old software you could select each pin individually on a component and edit it's ground pour interface weather it was a solid connect or thermal pad. I used this extensively for ground connections. On the new Plus software when you edit a components pad properties it applies to all pads on the component so all your pins are connected to ground.
I used to use the middle mouse button, (press in on the scroll wheel) to grab and move the board. Now every time I instinctively do that it zoomes out to fit the whole board on the screen. The only way I have found to move around is with the scroll sliders on the edge of the screen or zooming out and in.
I used to use the compute board cost a lot but that feature seems to be missing.
