Parts moved from top to bottom put outline and text in copper (1 reply and 2 comments)
OK, I now see that if I select an area and right click I can select "Move to other side", but I then have to "Flip horizontal" to get them in the same place. (All I wanted to do was move the stuff straight down, keeping connector positions in the same spot.) After that maneuver, all thermal pad connections are missing, vias to the ground on the other side are gone, pad hole diameters are similar but the pad diameter is larger, and the silkscreen on the bottom is hidden beneath the traces, although it is visible when I display everything and then "Turn over". Yuck!
Also, I see that my .031 pads with .014" dia holes carried over from the import from ExpressPCB classic, but there is no way to select anything smaller than .020" for a hole now. Can it still be manufactured? Did you discontinue that size?
Hi Brian can you email me your design file to support@ExpressPCB.com so we can see your issue?
I have been trying to figure out how to move all the parts in a section of the board from the top to the bottom. When I select the area and click Bottom, the silkscreen is copied to the copper layer too. I can't see how to move the parts to the bottom copper but the silkscreen to the new bottom silkscreen layer.
